Tim Ho Wan: Michelin Star Meal on a Dime.
Tim Ho Wan known as the “Dim Sum Specialist” is set to open up a new location this spring at 23330 Grand Circle Blvd #180. The restaurant, started by Chef Mak Kwai-Pui and Chef Leung Fai Keung in 2009, was a 20 seat dim sum restaurant in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Their philosophy is all dishes are made to order from the freshest ingredients. The dim sum menu will include world famous BBQ Pork Buns along with other specialties like Pan Fried Turnip Cake and Steamed Egg Cake. Each location has a “Regional Specialty” dish, so be sure to ask about it. The restaurant that has been dubbed as “the world’s cheapest Michelin–Star restaurant” has restaurants in 7 countries, which includes locations here in the United States in New York, California, Hawaii and Las Vegas.
